I suspect the final height of Vue will be plus or minus a few metres the same as the fully erect boom of the crane in Phenom's photo.

The central lift core is growing quite rapidly - now up to level 6. picture taken on way home (unfortunately looking into the sun.)

Getting taller


This shot is from the back of vue.

The core is now 8 stories and the rest of the building is up to level 4. A concrete pump has been installed on the west (rear) side. It can just be seen as the red object between the parts of the core.

Its still early days and already dominating the area.

Here's a few from this morning. Quality fell a bit as I had to resize the pics.

People in the Optus building should enjoy their last views of the skyline. They should be gone in a few months at this rate.







Also, the glass on the Optus building looked really nice and clean today.

We should see a change in floor plate shape soon too, there is only one more level of podium to go before the tower "proper" begins.

It seems as if Vue has been sold out (it's on the big banner advertising Bohem)

The lift core is up to level 11 and the actual building is now at level 7 as at 3/May/15
