Hopefully the final finish/painting can occur soon.

I noticed the steel enclosure/secondary fire stairs are nearing completion on the western side too.

I've been a skyscraper/development perv for 20 years and can't recall a tower that so closely resembled the render as Kodo does.

Yes. See Jewel on the GC - similar if not better then it’s renders.

That is indeed a nice angle of Kodo above.

Nice shot, hopefully the concrete will be painted and not left raw. Even if it's an even shade of grey, the uniformity of the colour would help the design.

I still feel quite underwhelmed by this tower however. At the end of the day, it's given some variation and much needed height to the skyline. They all can't be stunners, I guess.

Fully agree with your sentiment, and I've been a bit surprised by the excitement over this one. It is a bit Singapore public housing, but it does fill a gap in the skyline. Hopefully any new neighbours are a bit more imaginative, and less gaudy as I think the lairy green wont age well.

It’s not a great one is it. I feel the white cheapens the overall look. They really should have stuck to a similar colour scheme as the law courts to allow this to blend and extend the look of the precinct.

Noticed on SSC that the western wall is getting its treatment, but I can't tell from the photo if that's paint or the concrete being cleaned?

Each to his own, but I think the green lifts this building. It would be a bit meh without it.

Appears to have had a physical/grind texturising treatment? Not sure. Looks much smoother. (note: window walls, not lift core wall).
