That is it's height to top of the roof. However when measuring the height of a building you actually measure its height to top of structure, which in regard to this building is 52m.sleepy wrote:This development will be 48.5m high (according to http://www.urps.com.au/docs/Planning_Ma ... r_2012.pdf).
It was granted development consent by DAC on 23 February 2012.
It can range from architectural features like spires to plant rooms for mechanical equipment.sleepy wrote:Thanks for the information regarding the height.
What is going on the roof to take the height level from 48.5m to approximately 52m?
I think we can thank the axing of stamp duty for this.Ben wrote:Wow i must admit i didn't think this one would see the light of day. Glad to see it progress.
If those facilities in the top levels are available to all the residents it probably increases the overall value of the building more than they would have got from having a big penthouse on that level.phenom wrote:So the Advertiser article claims it is 20 levels? Is this a benefit associated with the revised planning guidelines, sloppy journalism or a reference to levels below ground as well?
Either way the location for this is great - very prominent to traffic coming in from the airport and a nice place to make a statement about a city that continues to develop. I'm intrigued by the use of the top 3 levels for gym/pool or whatever... would have thought they were prime real estate so to speak.
I suspect there will be another level below that jutting out.dsriggs wrote:I hope there's some glass next to that swimming pool!
I don't think you need to ask such questions on this forum. I can see your enthusiasm but with the amount of people in the loop on this forum I think we'd know!DaShyFreak wrote:Has work started on this yet?
