The current SA Water House on the southern side of Grenfell Street (which is directly to the north of this proposed building).

A further 12 month extension on the DA was granted on April 22.

The 4th 12 month extension of time was granted on June 1st.

I pass this building every morning now (Wife works next door at No. 89). Hard to describe but always feels quite eerie/sad to see the building just sitting there empty for almost 10yrs. Went to The Planet few times back in the day and can imagine the inside would remain virtually unchanged since the day it closed.

Such a shame, over 2700m2 of prime land sitting idle.

I went to The Oaks a few times, in it's day, before it became The Planet!

Seems this project as we know it is dead. After 10 years of nothing, atleast this site will become active again.

It could also be that the owners of the site want to use the old planet building as temporary retail, for example for one of those rug retailers which are always having a 'closing down' sale.
