Cruise was not there, Although Cruise is exicted by the fact he may have a long lost twin brother living in the vicinity of the Anzac highway underpass.
Now i wonder.... which one is the evil twin?

CItyLink is a shining example of transport engineering. We could definetly use a few examples; ie: building an elevated roadway over the rail tracks. Could do same over Noarlunga and/or Gawler lines for North-South Corridor.

I like the Upfield line, it shows a side of Melbourne which is so different.

I agree, actually. It indeed does show a different side to Melbourne, a stark contrast to what we seen in Federation Square. I s'pose it's fair to say that some will like it, and others will not, but I find it interesting. Besides, if Adelaide were to construct such roads, the area around them won't necessarily turn 'bad' - that's Melbourne, this is Adelaide.
Take the DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) area in Brooklyn in New York as an example of how areas under a bridge or road and so on could work.

DUMBO is comparatively short (less than a mile long) and the bridge is tall (more than 4 stories at the start of DUMBO), and the whole thing is in a super-crowded metropolis. I don't think it's a good comparison for an elevated freeway in a city like Adelaide.
And, despite the name, almost none of it is under the bridge. It's really the area between the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges.

Some kind of panel has ben set up along the Underpass bridge, probably for advertising. The median barrier (4-string type) on the underpass is now being erected.

The underpass can be driven through from this Friday at approximately 6pm. Final works will take place from this Friday until Tuesday, including final asphalting and final linemarking.

Typical Adelaidian NIMBY?
Newsflash - Adelaide is a growing major city, not a country town.
