At the Rogers Centre in Toronto, they have the Marriott Hotel embedded in the stadium where you can see the baseball from your room

Honestly there's been about 100 rumours regarding the Tennant for this, I am tired of it. To my knowledge the building doesn't even have approval.
Sounds like an online forum which is largely driven on speculation and the unknown isnt the place for you, champ.

My money is on this building never going ahead. There's been rumours going around for at least
3 years now and frankly I am tired of it. Here in Adelaide we're excited about a couple of 130 metre
building going up in the city, meanwhile in Perth they're building a 150 metre building on the coastline. We need
to get real in this public servant city.
I don't understand why you're tired of it, how does it affect you personally? What impact does it have on your life?
Constant negativity isn't good for you.

I'm more triggered every time I see the Stamford building in the background. Looks like a giant 1970's AV Jennings suburban build. All that blonde brick...yuk.

Apparently this area used to be part of the parklands and the Adelaide Parklands Preservation Association
wanted it returned as parklands instead of all this development.

Few people realise that the Festival Plaza is part of the Adelaide Park Lands. The Plaza could easily and cheaply be returned to Park Lands.
I don't think they actually know what the hell they're talking about.

First they say it IS part of the park lands, and then in the following sentence they say it could be returned to being park lands, which concedes it is NOT park lands.

Cheaply returned to Park Lands? That would make me Santa Claus.

EVERYTHING on the northern side of North Terrace is in the Park Lands. I have a copy of Light's original plan and back then he didn't factor in the Railways, Museum, Library, University, Art Gallery etc. He drew a spot for Government House, a hospital in the east park lands, army barracks, storage facility and not much else.

The fact that Colonel Light himself factored in Government House and a hospital implies that he had no qualms about placing buildings and structures in the parklands. Thus, it shows the argument frequently used by the APPA that placing buildings in the parklands is offensive to Light’s vision to be utter nonsense. All it highlights is how fanatical and deluded members of the APPA are.

As much as they are unique asset, the parklands have been a hindrance to Adelaide's growth. Especially when it comes to this mob.
