I wonder if there has been a choice made to not allow a top down shot from a drone to prevent the parklands lobby from freaking out before the landscaping has been done Only asking because I haven't seen one and I would love to get a better sense of the tunnel from a still aerial shot directly overhead. Boy, does it have. Redundancy and monitoring systems at 'Star Trek: Next Generation' levels. If anything goes wrong... well things go wrong despite engineers best efforts. /pessimist

There's been two sets of drone videos commissioned by the Advertiser. They keep them behind their pay-wall, but a google search will usually get you a free taste.

They only did it when the parklands were at their most excavated - I think they were designed just to outrage.

I note on the second to last page of that report, it shows an underground "tunnel services building" http://www.infrastructure.sa.gov.au/__d ... pdate_.pdf

I assume this would be for water and air pumping?

The O-Bahn City Access Project has reached a new milestone, with the final roof plank being lifted into place for the Rymill Park section of the O-Bahn tunnel.
To date 425 metres of roof planks have been installed on the new 670 metre tunnel.
Works to install roof planks on the remaining sections of the O-Bahn tunnel are expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2017.

Today was the Advertiser's annual, "gee the Clipsal is a real PITA for traffic" bleat.
One of the pictures they used showed a glimpse of the tunnel under North Terrace

Looking through those aerial shots, goes to show how much more sense it would have made to have stuck with the original proposal of closing Rundle Road and creating a new road along the channel of the tunnel... They won't be able to plant trees along the that channel to fill in the gaps and closing Rundle Road would have made for a reasonably large chunk of parkland returned. Did the APPA even know what they were protesting for?
