Wow, there couldn't be a bigger contrast between this beast and the hotel right next to it. It's like an alien spaceship has just landed.
Shame the proposed festival plaza office tower wont have the same type of curved glass exterior, as that would have been a seamless pairing in this part of the skyline, creating an even more spectacular view when viewed from this angle.

this building is truly amazing. Driving past it on the weekend around sunset it was glowing gold. We need more of this style glass.
Since it is mirrored glass won't it reflect light onto the Playhouse and the plaza?
Cheers

Maybe sunrise but not sunset.

Riding past everyday, I still feel it really crowds on the Dunstan Playhouse. Needed to be have just a bit more space between the two, particularly near the footbridge.

Doesn't it face north and in low winter sunlight? Just a clarification.
Cheers

This is starting to look really striking when travelling south along King WIlliam Road.

Yeah, I was passing along there just after sunset and it looked great. Wouldn't even mind the Walker tower if it could look as well made as this.

One or both of the cranes must be close to coming down. Looks like this would be completed before September soft launch next year but I suppose the fitout will be extensive.

If only this was on the site of the InterContinental/Riverside Centre/Plenary building, the area would look so much tidier and less cluttered.
