Imagine a pool on the top level. That would be insanely cool
I've got a better idea.
A 117m spire?
Ha no. I'm not actually sure if we can pull off what we're planning but we'll see.

Hoping they serve venison at this tower’s new Westin hotel.

Looking forward to this one getting traction eventually.

Looks like they may still be trying to work out how to make it all work - a variation has been lodged.

Unsure what this entails, but looks like they want to funnel cars from North Terrace to Rundle Street along a (former) pedestrian link along the western boundary.

Perhaps driveways on both sides of the building. A great outcome if you're obsessed with cars, I guess.

See DA 25009644 for the variation and Council's comments.

I think it's further up the thread, but I believe they were working with the state architect to figure out the most appropriate traffic solution. They had three options included in the original plans, two purely via Synagogue place, and one with a link to North Terrace.

No exactly sure what the 'car obsession' issue is here, but for a large hotel & building to have vehicle access is rather a necessity....

Not a pool, how about a helipad.......

No helipad, but how about a variation for:

"Miscellaneous amendments to the proposed interior and exterior of the mixed-use development"

Council comments seems like the eastern crossover on North Terrace will be closed.

This will mix peds with cars on a single shared path to the west.

Looking forward to progress here...

I agree I feel like we should be starting to see something happen soon? Guys? Anytime now?

I asked before when this was looking to break soil but to no luck.

Still needs to get Building Rules Consent from what I understand. Until we see that, nothing will be happening on site.

BRC for 'earlyworks, salvage and demolition' was granted on 17 April 2025.
Development Approval for this stage was granted on 24 April 2025.

A month later, I am sure the demo team isn't far off :)
