Some information about Modbury Triangle shopping centre:
1. Barbecues Galore relocated to Gepps Cross HQ and I'm unsure whether it would be an extension to Cash Converters or something.
2. Dreamland bedding (next to Lounge Around, which is a sofa outlet) is now a temporary bedding centre. Are all Dreamland stores liquidating, or just the one at Modbury?
3. Its supermarket was originally a BI-LO until it became Coles in 2007 and then, Romeo's Foodland.
4. Snooze (a bedding centre) next to the Triangle also relocated to GCHQ and it's still up for lease.
5. The Westpac bank used to house 2 restaraunts (Sizzler & Bell's) until the late 1990s.
Remember those railway carriages?

One of the blue Center Loader's is now with Steamranger, and stored under a big tarp at Mt Barker. The 2 small box vans were converted to toilets from memory.

I think Sleepy Hollow (bedding store) next to Plaza Holden will move down North East Road to where Dreamland was.

Modbury Triangle might be dying and would unfairly compete against Tea Tree Plaza!

Yes, they were toilets, & Miss Bridget's tea rooms were in the two passenger cars.

I recon that when TTp has the money and after the TT+ connection, they should take over the Triangle and build an underground retail shopping corridor to connect up with it.

I'm a bit concerned about Barry Solomon. I remember seeing his Gouger Rugs TV ads in the past years and hearing his final notice on MIX 102.3 in 2008.

I'm posting from my new HTC Desire android phone. It's brilliant. An iphone killer for sure, even plays Flash. It offered Tapatalk when I opened S-A, but the browser's so good that this model doesn't need it.
