Well, as I type this another core rise is happening! I suspect the next pour would be for the LMR, then the form work would be removed.

It's completely dominating the Gateway tower height wise now!

The core form work is about to be removed. The advertising has been removed. I wouldn't be surprised that come the end of the week it'll be completely removed.

Completely dominating the southern skyline, with it's blank, soon to be removed form work. The access ladder on the Northern side of the core has been removed

Sorry I've been away for a while, but I'm back with some photos from the last few weeks. There's a couple from the Royal Adelaide Showgrounds oval grandstand, along with some progress shots from my usual distant vantage point.

They've made very good progress on this, they only just started at the beginning of September
last year. Would be good if other projects in Adelaide could progress so quickly.

A nice mini skyline developing down that end of town.
Now for it to be linked with the rest of the City skyline with a few more towers between Vic Square and Vue, that stand out and tower over everything in their vicinity, and what a view from the west or hills that will be.

It will happen if that 100m tall Kodo development gets up on Angas St.

Another angle of this beast from yesterday. Picture's a bit shoddy.

It doesn't seem too dominant from here, even though from other angles it towers over the Optus building. That said, there's obviously a few more floors that must be built around the topped out core box thingy (not sure what it's called).

Wouldn't mind seeing something proposed on that ugly building on the foreground to continue to bridge the gap between the southern skyline and the main one.

Almost, but not quite. It will be in the same area as the Commonwealth Law Courts, and if you look at the skyline from the airport terminal window, you can see that the southern skyline and the core of the CBD (ie the Law Courts) are still just a little bit separated. But Kodo will definitely help and it looks pretty nice to me, so hopefully it goes ahead.

I'd say we need two 50m+ buildings on the blocks between Sturt and Wright or Halifax and Carrington for the gap to finally be bridged. Bohem may also help slightly.

There are some on the drawing board. Expect them to be announced in the next few months.

Ooh, that's interesting. Can you tell me a little more?

This thread's going slightly off-topic now though, so this sort of discussion is probably better in the General CBD development thread or somewhere like that.

This same developer bought the former Trims site so I expect once Bohem commences they will announce their next project which I assume would be the Trims site.
