Nice views but any chance of one colour of grass in elder park preferably green. It looks shocking. It should really resemble Parliament House Canberra or the West End Brewery river grass. I know all the events that are held there cause it.

What usually happens when one is hosting back to back events in a space since before Christmas. I must say, Elder Park is a great place to host certain public events, but I can't understand for the life of me why there isn't more use of the other parks that exist within the parklands especially when music festivals are now using Elder Park?

It could do with Elder Park having by far the best public transport options with train station, tram & bus at its door.

Heavy use aside, the ACC staff have no idea about coring or fertilising lawns. It shows in virtually every open grass space. Consistent irrigation is also an issue.

Great shot Plasmatron. Actually gives the Intercontinental some scale and context too, making it less intrusive from that angle. Looking forward to seeing the casino hotel lit up at night too when completed.
