It's a shame this all revolves around a carpark.

Correct... And they are, it’s agreed in contract. It’s just that one will be ready before the other.citywatcher wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 5:52 pmI remember they wouldn't build a new casino until they said they would build them a Carpark thoughSmithy85 wrote:Can’t see them having a brand spanking new $330m facility sitting there empty while they wait for someone else to finish a car park next door!

And I bet that wasn't supposed to happen and there'll be repercussions behind the scenes.Smithy85 wrote:Correct... And they are, it’s agreed in contract. What usually happens when one is hosting back to back events in a space since before Christmas. I must say, Elder Park is a great place to host certain public events, but I can't understand for the life of me why there isn't more use of the other parks that exist within the parklands especially when music festivals are now using Elder Park?robboaustralia wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 12:36 amNice views but any chance of one colour of grass in elder park preferably green. It looks shocking. It should really resemble Parliament House Canberra or the West End Brewery river grass. I know all the events that are held there cause it.
Heavy use aside, the ACC staff have no idea about coring or fertilising lawns. It shows in virtually every open grass space. Consistent irrigation is also an issue.robboaustralia wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 12:36 amNice views but any chance of one colour of grass in elder park preferably green. It looks shocking. Great shot Plasmatron. Actually gives the Intercontinental some scale and context too, making it less intrusive from that angle. Looking forward to seeing the casino hotel lit up at night too when completed.Plasmatron wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 5:02 pmThe view from across the Torrens last week... (15/1/2020)
