Great photos Fabrice!
One of the scary thoughts about these photos is to realise that Vue's podium is essentially the entire project that was mooted for this site at one point (before the Hills one I think). Bullet dodged there.

Well, a lot has changed in a relatively short period of time this month. It seems they've now reached maximum height, and now we're just waiting for the last few floors to be "filled in". Photo from Monday (19/10/2015).

So presumably its at final height now considering the scaffolding looks to be in level with the top of the core?

I don't mean to boast but here's a picture of the view from my office this morning on Level 3 Rundle Mall Plaza.

I think we have a winner.
(BTW - What is it that apparently costs $2.95?)

Haven't been here for a long time. Besides all the impact, scale etc of the bldg, (my favorite atm), it's amazing how that crane sticks another dozen or so floors higher up into 'restricted airspace' and doing so for some time. Bodes well for higher buildings without airspace issues. (using hammerheads).
Funny how this lifting of height restrictions has happened after decades at the 'invisible and unspoken' 18 floor level we've had for decades. Must be new approach angles to the airport?

I feel that if the council hadn't been so restrictive with it's height limits that Adelaide may have had a similar skyline to Perth; far less low/mid-rise buildings and a few standout high-rise buildings which in-turn would have seen more heritage retained. After all, a 150m office building probably houses equivalent to eight to ten 30-50m buildings.

I don't even have a window, so no view for me.
