Am I right in thinking it's taken 5 months to go up 3 storeys. Seems slow

It’s a huge site. I was expecting extra time for the first couple of levels. Work is starting on the towers now so should go up more quickly.

I’m still not able to number the podium levels properly. Its doing my head in haha

I actually feel like it's gone up fairly quickly given the size of the site.

Not forgetting two levels of basement... To have the entire footprint covered in effectively five full levels in five months is very respectable.

I'd take a guess and say the first level with the arches will reach up to the opening just above the hoarding in that last photo.
Then above that there seems to be two levels poured and work starting on another.
But then to the far right there seems to be another level but its hard to tell in that photo.

I believe the Gouger Street side is at full height based off what I can see here the setback has started.

Ok so this is what I was remembering. The retail podium goes up to level 5 but the actual podium goes up to level 4.

Moving on!

Not sure what they’re doing here tonight, some sort of plumbing work maybe?

Edit - same works occurring on the Gouger Street side.

My pleasure! I'm really optimistic about this project. So so so much better than what was there before :D

A game changer for the markets and for Adelaide I hope.

Will the markets ever have to fully close while this Reno is happening?

For the umpteenth time, no.
