Hey hey,
I'm Matt (obviously)... I'm 24, male, gay, heavily into AFL and SANFL, living in Goodwood at the moment.
Have lived in Adelaide my entire life, but looking to get out and experience life elsewhere.
Have been struggling to work out where exactly to go for the past 3 or 4 years - investigated job transfers to Melbourne, considered Sydney, very briefly considered Brisbane, now after an overseas trip last year have settled on London and leave in March.
Have a British heritage so will be on a British passport, so the trip will be one-way and indefinite at this stage.
I've been on here for a couple of years now I think, but before that was a bit of a 'lurker'.
I come here because I'm keen to see Adelaide grow and develop, and hopefully become an attractive destination for young people to visit and move to, rather than move away from.
I'd like to see Adelaide shift into "top gear" and shake off the 'boring' tag, and would like to see Adelaide, as a city, develop a more interesting skyline with many more modern, thought provoking and controversial new buildings, rather than anymore of the bland glass boxes. (I work in Flinders Link - for shame!)

Another person who's leaving. Your lucky Matt, to have a British passport. If I had one I may have gone back, but it was just the 2-year working holiday thingo (only there for 7 months), and I dont think I can get another caus Im 31
I think there needs to be even more o/s students, they're now the life blood of Adelaides vibrancy.
Haha, I too was once into SANFL and AFL, but a certain north-western suburb club is not doing well in either league

Hello everyone! I seem to be one of the few females here. I'm 22. I've always loved Adelaide, and I'd love to see it be as good as it can be, both architecturally (though I don't seem to be as picky about it as some of you are!) and socially.
