apparently, eating hot spicy foods (such as indian, thai, schezwan) helps cool you down. It makes you perspire which cools the skin as it evaporates. Probably no coincidence that people who live it hot climates eat such foods!

Pity me! for I have no functioning air conditioner!
What I meant to say was that it is unfair that guys have to wear shirts with sleeves, shorts up to the knees in length and shoes, whereas the ladies are socially allowed to wear hot-pants and boob-tubes.

You will spontaneously combust, unless you have one of Will's bra-like tops and hot pants. Match them with some elegant vintage oversized sunglasses, and pout your way through the crowds of smelly skinny-leg ugly beads-clad band T-shirt school skippers.
Perhaps we need a SenAd calendar.

If I hear one more report crying blue murder about how Melbourne is suffering the heatwave, without so much of a mention of Adelaide - despite ours being hotter and lasting longer I shall cause a commotion.
Oh, wait? Didn't someone else just say that?
Fuckin' Today show. Bloody lot of sodding moronic Melbourne-centric assholes.

Oh you watched the whole Melbourne heatwave "tests" they were doing on Today show as well? I switched to Sunrise about a minute into that story. I usually watch Sunrise anyhow, Kochie's a pretty proud South Aussie even though he's surrounded by hardened New South Welshmen

ABC2's Breakfast is better anyway.
My video card overheated on Wednesday, so now I have had to fork out for a new one. To make things worse, I've had to install a new PSU as well due to the increased power demands.

Yeah, that's what pissed me off. "Oh looky now, were gunna cook bacon on the carpark, and eggs on the roof."
So I switched to Sunrise, and they were playing that story about "Dumb and Dumber" The two runaway handcuffed bandits that wrapped themselves around a pole. But then, in typical Sunrise fashion, they replayed the video like twenty times, Edmur, Kochie, Mel, Blondie, all hysterically laughing like it was the funniest thing ever. So I switched back, and alas, they were still doing their moronic "It's so hot you can fry eggs on the pavement" skit.
Does journalism have any credibility anymore?
First TT, then ACA, then Sunrise, and now Today. God, what's next? Rob Kelvin on the National Nine News doing a hula dance on the newsdesk as he reads the weather?

You'd probably have more chance of Kevin Crease doing that, now can anyone tell me what is stopping him from doing that
