I found those after the first time I spotted it myself. They take much better photos than me, but they were chasing it in a car where as I was on another bus.

Is that Frodo as in the C64 emulator there?

I haven't actually used the Frodo emulator, mainly PC64 and ccs64 i think they were for PC, and now my favourite emulator is pspVICE, which is nice and portable! I just like the C64 so I used it as my logo! THe Mr.Frodo has a different history

Note that this is probably the first time in many years that genuine extra peak services have been added. Everything else over the last 5 years or so has really been the result of reshuffling, or using more busses during interpeak - including go-zones etc.

Great news. This is the result of getting some more second hand buses from Sydney and bringing some older buses out of retirement. However, I have no idea where the extra ticket machines will come from.

If they removed the gates at adelaide station for a few years i guess they could use them?

I think they're more ticket checkers than validators.

The yellow machines in Adelaide Station are ticket checking devices that only check if your ticket is valid or have been validated by the blue machines

The improvements are welcome - however, I would have thought any service increases would be spread out evenly across the system. It seems they have jumped the gun to drastically improve services on a handful of routes, which is a good thing, but still leaves the rest of the system to suffer a bit.

There is only so much they can do with 20 extra buses. And these buses are there to help relieve pressure on crowded routes and corridors, not all of them. There are a handful that don't need extra services, including my very own M44 (well, maybe in afternoon peak a few extra runs wouldn't hurt, but it's fine for now).

Well, there are no new buses yet. The extra fleet wil comprise of 14 MAN SL200s that have been brought out of retirement and 6 Scania K92s that have been leased from Busways in NSW. I'm not sure what the new buses will be, but I'll keep you updated.

Aha! This must be the second phase of Mr. Rudd's Education Retribution! (Repatriation? Remission? I forget) All those kiddies who shall be issued with those smashing new Commodore 64s but lack power/internet/chairs/walls in their schools shall be ushered onto buses, where they can browse for moral, family-oriented information to their heart's content! A fine solution.
