Its almost sickening seeing the "Claw" do its thing but, at the same time, fasinating. The way it just snips into supporting beams and concrete etc and down it comes. I took some video yesterday as well but since my camera records in HD, the files are huge. When I can edit it and reduce the size, will post them here also.
@Demo, since you are a worker on site, do you know what, if anything, has been salvaged from the site? Would be good to see the pressed metal ceilings from the main tower be reused or sold off...

Sadly with the time frame of the project no salvaging involved, just demolish and recycle. Around 98% of all demolition is recycled for reuse in other materials.
Be great to see some video. As work progresses there is a time lapse video shooting the works, just like the Julia Farr project which is posted on youtube:

I use Pinnacle Studio Ultimate HD 14 (absurdly long name...) to edit my videos, it's a good program.

I'd take a punt at the obvious and say they are hosing them down to keep mud and dirt on the roads to a minimum. Interesting never seen that happen before.
Does anyone know when that perimeter wall will be coming down?
