no you're not missing anything, the same thing happened last year...the festival is split in such a way that some of the bigger acts will perform earlier here and then fly to melbourne and close the show there and vice versa. eg, last year... crookers and deadmau5 were on quite early here and then went to melbourne, whereas fedde le grand and the bloody beetroots were on early in melbourne and then ended the show here. kind of like the falls festival split over new years in lorne and falls creek.

Today is my 20th Birthday!

I woke up only to find that the power went out for about 5 minutes...
Then at evening, the power went out again for 30 minutes!

This is one bad birthday I've had in my life.

Labor wins two-party preferred vote

The final count in the federal election campaign shows the Government has won the two-party preferred vote.

The Australian Electoral Commission says after preferences Labor has 50.12 per cent of the vote compared to the Coalition's 49.88 per cent.

Labor has a lead of 30,490 votes

If that isn't the closest thing to 50/50 I've ever seen. Just shows how crap both parties have become.
