For starters, my avatar is the well-known Adelaide Aquatic Centre insignia from 1989.

Well definitely not much left now! I'm amazed how fast it has all happened as the store only closed in late March!

The photo of the mannequin amongst the rubble is superb.

The building is completely razed now. Nothing but rubble...
Now for the clean up.

Guess there isn't much point in going back into the city over the weekend to have one last look if there is nothing left...

There's plenty of dust coating the mall in the immediate vicinity.
Technically that is remains...

We could just about make a book about this site - so many pics, good info - perhaps more needed on the surrounds to keep it in context... or to extend the concept - development over the last few years - the Rise and Rise of Adelaide.
Excellent photo coverage guys - I only wish I was over there to contribute.

When I walked out of Woolworths Rundle Mall last night the scaffolding had all been taken down and apart from the black hoardings it looked almost as if Harris Scarfe could still reopen (from that angle, because from just inside Woolworths entrance you could only see the bottom couple of floors of Harris Scarfe, and those were all there was anyway).
I was quite surprised this morning to find nothing there but a couple of piles of rubble!
