Sheffiled city loft's tower.101m.
Hi,this is going to be Sheffield's tallest building.I would like to hear your thoughts.
Re: Sheffiled city loft's tower.101m.
Oh dear. I feared this day would come, when people will start looking to the 50's/60's design template to use on 21st century buildings.
Vomit.

It's very slender. Not sure about the appeal for prospective tenants because of the floorplates, unless it's going to be a highrise bowling alley with one lane per floor!

Hello International-style revival!
I don't mind it, but it doesn't push any new boundaries.

Completely uninspired design. Also that render has a major forced perspective going on. @.@

One thing I do like is the penthouse-style top floor, like that on the RBA Building in Victoria Square, or on the '65 AMP Building in Sydney.

This West Bar development in Sheffield looks a bit more interesting:
Still with a very strong International influence, I see.

I have to admit it isn't the best looking building in sheffield and it has started so could a mod change it to u/c.
Re: Sheffiled city loft's tower.101m.
it looks like a very slim version of the former reserve bank building on vic square, i like it.. but i'm a sucker for all things 60's...
