SA Strategic Plan
Re: SA Strategic Plan
I like the layout of this report - very easy to digest. Will review in detail soon...
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
Re: SA Strategic Plan
Hi All,
not sure if this has been posted somewhere else or if most people on S-A are aware or not, but there is a whole website seeking public feedback about the SA Strat Plan http://community.saplan.org.au/home/
so if you have gripes with the plan here is your chance to make a difference... perhaps

Re: SA Strategic Plan
I feel very stupid for not having posted about this earlier - there are still a couple of days left to make a submission to the SA strategic plan review. I'd like to urge everyone to make a submission, even just a few sentences in an email will do. Before we all go saying "what difference does it make, they never listen", let's at least make sure that they have something to listen to. Here's the details from the SA plan website,
A Guide for Developing Submissions for South Australia’s Strategic Plan 2010 Community Consultations
The 2010 community consultations regarding South Australia’s Strategic Plan are focussed on the long term visions South Australians have for the State, to 2020 and beyond, and the appropriateness of the Plan’s targets to facilitate this vision. We are therefore seeking submissions which highlight a long term vision for South Australia and how the Plan can be further developed as plan for everyone. While many of the Plan’s existing targets may be appropriate for measuring this shared vision, some may no longer be appropriate. To ensure we can focus on our priorities the intent is to maintain approximately 100 targets. We currently have 98. This doesn’t mean that we can only find two more targets however, but ensuring the targets we do have reflect the priorities of South Australians.
To help us collate the large amount of information we are currently gathering from meetings and forums, online engagement and written submissions we ask you to focus your responses.
When drafting submissions please consider the following:
1. What is your long term vision for South Australia?
2. What target areas need to be developed to help us achieve your new vision or improve the existing Plan?
3. How do we ensure South Australia’s Strategic Plan is a plan for everyone (individuals, community, industry and governments)?
