Saturday, 13 February 2010
One of the biggest free community events on even-numbered years to hit the north eastern suburbs is back and is set to be bigger and better than ever!
On Saturday, 13 February the City's very own Civic Park will come alive for the 2010 Civic Park ‘Saturday' Spectacular; a day of fun, great live music and entertainment for people of all ages.
Following in the tradition of previous years with entertainment by big names such as Vanessa Amorosi, Killing Heidi, Guy Sebastian and Ricki-Lee, the City of Tea Tree Gully is pleased to announce that Adelaide's very own 2008 Australian Idol winner, Wes Carr, will perform live on stage and will be supported by his band for an hour long performance that will no doubt delight and excite fans and music lovers.
The entertainment will kick off at 1.00pm with performances from high profile bands, local talent and popular children's entertainers, as well as a sideshow alley featuruing 'Cha-Cha' & 'Kamakaze' for the thrill seekers and food stalls galore. The evening will then close with a bang as an impressive fireworks display lights up the City's sky.
The 2010 entertainment line up is as follows:
1.10pm to 1.35pm – Sherpas Playground

Ugh, not this again. I'd prefer this didn't happen in exchange for the upcoming rate rise not happening.
