Hrmph, more carparking on the same block that that 8 level carpark is getting built - it's literally right next door.
The plot on Franklin St is smaller than the plot that the carpark stands on, is there any indication that one of the two towers will actually be built on the carpark?

it is a bit ambigous. I am hoping.... it will be carpark then office then resi equaling a building of 45 levels...

No, let's not have the street-level view be just a carpark - put that up the top, a penthouse for cars. Imagine getting out of the car, taking a deep breath and one last look across the city before heading back over to the elevator. I wonder how long it would take to get up that ramp?

We can all dream Ben
. At 19 levels I'd be guessing around the 60m mark and since it's from the same blokes that did 400 KW I would be pretty confident in the designs looking awesome.

And the garden shop next to it, and carpark behind it.

Agreed!!Won't know Franklin St soon. Will be even better if ODX gets going, although recent economic developments through the feds may put an end to that.
BTW - was'nt the financing of 400KWS done differently to normal - something to do with private finance carrying the developer through the GFC. Bodes well for this project.

Fantastic news, that area in particular needs a major facelift so it's good to see something starting to happen there now with all those projects.

positive news. Ive always found Franklin St to be by far, the worst street in Adelaide, however the new bus station, the precinct towers and these new developments will make a much better change.
Did I read another carpark. shutup jk1237

Sounds very promising
Franklin Street has been given a makeover in the past year or so, majority of the stobie poles have been removed and replaced with new street lights.
Also the Metropolitan Hotel is currently closed for renovations.

We have plenty of proposals. What we need is construction!
