I seem to remember they mention Adelaide in a bad light...
EDIT: "...and Adelaide's a yawn."
They couldn't even have the decency to come up with a decent sledge for us. *hurt feelings*

That Adelaide 'tourism ad' has highlighted something which has been bothering me for a while. This growing stereotype that somehow we are the bogan capital of Australia. Where did this ridiculous idea come from? In fact it's a complete 180 turn, because just a generation ago, the stereotyped image of a person from Adelaide was someone wearing a pink cravat and beret, talking about the arts with a posh Alexander Downer accent. What has happened?
If anywhere in Australia is the bogan capital of Australia, it surely would be Queensland.

I agree, Queensland is much worse then Adelaide in terms of... driving, attitude, aggression, driving and did I mention driving

The Canberra tourism videos are pretty funny and definitely hit on the stereotypes. When it comes to Adelaide, it doesn't seem there's really much to make fun of compared to Canberra and others. I thought it was funny and didn't put Adelaide in too much of a bad light.
