WOW... the final piece of the puzzle has been released and it is spectacular. You can see the impact this will have by comparing it to the Art.

There are 2 towers

Tower 1 is 23 levels, 64 metres with 86 residential apartments. Tower 2 is 25 levels 78 Metres, will have 34 apartments and 64 serviced apartments. There will be communal gym, pool and gardens as well as cafes and restaurants on ground level.

Tower 1 brings the density, Tower 2 brings the slender "wow factor". It will stick out like a sore thumb... but I suppose a city can't grow and reach its full potential without a few sore thumbs every now and then. Love that architecture is slowly getting bolder and bigger here lately. What's the likelihood of this being approved?

Looking very classy! By far one of the best mixed use tower designs I've seen for Adelaide, and not a bland concrete wall in sight! In fact, it is nicely covering up the boring western facing wall of the Art. Knowing how concepts like this get treated, I fear the excitement may be a little premature for this one though... :|

This group have a good track record of getting things built, having constructed a list of smaller apartment blocks along this street. The Art and Zen developments were the most recent. The great use of natural light is a feature of this new development. The block itself is not very large so this is going to increase residential density to levels not seen in many other Adelaide sites. I note the car park entrance is at the rear and slopes down. They will need to dig a pretty big hole if they want to fit enough car parks to make this sell at a viable price

Great renders, what a fantastic potential development.

It's true they would stand out a bit but Art at least keeps them in a context so I guess it was a bit of a trojan horse in that sense. Given how quickly and quietly they followed up Art with Zen 1 and Zen 2 does inspire some reasonable sense they can get the job done on these.

Renders are just that of course but these are one of the few times I've seen something that just made me go, 'yep! build it'.

Stunning proposal, true to form for this developer. This is how I wish Bohem looked!

Going from the track record of their previous developments, they seem to have a sound understanding of the (slightly up)market they're pitching for, so hopefully this isn't too far from coming to fruition.

Is that perhaps a rooftop bar or restaurant on T2? looks to be a lot of greenery up there.

Also no mention of this yet in the Advertiser...

Wayno, based on the Advertiser's track record they won't report on it for another few months, at which time they will:

(1) run a scare story on 'skyscrapers in heritage zones';
(2) follow up with a story on how the city is changing (with a ra-ra pro-development attitude) but get the key facts (height, construction timing, sales) completely wrong; and
(c) probably use either an old render or use a completely unrelated one and give it the wrong label

You should know by now they know only about these developments after reading them here first. Give it a few days and Tim Williams will put something out. Hi Tim. :hilarious:

Not too shabby. I prefer the shorter Tower 1. There's something I can't quite put my finger on that makes the top of tower 2 look a bit funny to me, but that's just my opinion. Maybe I'm wrong. I still like these buildings a lot, so hopefully they go ahead.

These buildings will dwarf Art, which already has reasonable impact around that area of the city. Plus they'll probably appear taller because they're built on the more elevated side of the city.

What does this development bring the proposed hotel count up to?

Looks great, and in this part of the city they will stand out quite a lot!! Certainly 1000x better than this crap building on Frome St: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=82&start=1200
