So we're talking Wallaroo, Kadina and Moonta here.
Between the 3 of these towns there's almost already 11,000 people up there. It's not particularly far away from Adelaide and if we established a rail line that used Victorian V/line trains at 160kp/h the trip would be around an hour, which is an acceptable, albeit long daily commute time
It's 144km on the route I took on Google Earth, I deviated to Port Wakefield but that station would be pretty underutilized.
It just follows PWR until Two Wells where it crosses into the middle of PWR and goes down the center, so a station at Two Wells or Virginia would be easily accommodated. I'd have it follow the Northern Connector route to Dry Creek where it enters the Gawler Line.
What do you guys think, pretty solid vision am I right?
If we had Shanghai maglev speed the trip would only take 20 minutes

Why?
I'm not having a go at you, but I fail to see the raison d'etre of this satellite city.

I dont know, I was just curious about the train speed too be honest. I guess it could serve as an alternative to development on the salt pansWill wrote:Why?
