Does anyone know about or can post the plan/footprint of this development? I know they were going to carve off and sell a section ideally to developers for mixed use multi storey. Just wondering what area and section that will be?

This one has been recommended to be approved at the next SCAP meeting.

The landscaping actually looks pretty decent with this one, and even includes rain gardens and a nature playground.

Drove past the former LeCornu site yesterday and noticed For Sale signs have reappeared on the Anzac Highway side. Does this mean its back to drawing board for this one?

Kaufland is up for approval at the upcoming SCAP meeting, so I doubt they've ditched the site. My assumption is that the for sale sign may apply to the site at the rear (which is being marketed as a residential/mixed used site) of where Kaufland are proposing to set up.

Thanks for clarifying that. I must admit I was driving at the time and didn't see the details on the sign but I didn't see it last time I drove past a week or 2 ago.

Does anyone know if they've started construction on Kaufland or even demolished the old Le Cornu building yet?

Nothing has changed on the outside yet.

It's taking quite a while. I wonder when they'll start construction? Perhaps the Prospect one will get built first after all?

Do they even have a distribution centre ready yet? Setting up a new supermarket chain from scratch is no easy feat!

IGA should have spare capacity in its distribution chain from July when the new Drake's distribution centre opens.

No idea. I haven't been able to find much information. I only see snippets of what the Advertiser posts but that's behind a paywall.

Memory says yes.
Google says Regency Park distribution reached practical completion on 3 Dec 2015 and first stores open 2 Feb 2016.
