Christmas in City of Adelaide

any evidence of anything displaywise other than the pathetic tree in Vic Square and the recycled Father Christmas stuck on the side of the Central Market?
if you'd come from out of town you wouldn't realise Christmas was even a thing here.
Quite the contrast to the spectacular decorations in Melbourne.

The City of Adelaide will be getting a multi-million dollar new Christmas tree this year, plus other decorations.
Taller. Larger. Bigger. Better.
A big budget for some big shoes to fill. There will also be new decorations going up in and around the city as part of the plan. Yes, even the city council know the current decorations are miserable.
