Congratulations to DPTI for this excellent innovation.Hope to see more of them at key locations, which I am sure will be...

Re: News & Discussion: O-Bahn
Get used to the idea that it will be an O-Bahn busway for a long long time to come. No Government present or future is going to spend millions changing it to Light Rail, and have stated that many times. Given the parlous state of our finances,it ain't going to happen now or in the future.Bus is far m...

Re: U/C: Electrification & Upgrade of the Adelaide Rail Netw
You guys seem to forget that thanks to the previous Federal labor Government and its huge debt, the new Federal Government cannot afford to keep on spending like we would all like them to. Tony Abbot made it very clear before the election that his was an Infrastructure Government and would not be spe...

Re: PRO: 30-year Transport Plan PRO | $36b

Re: PRO: 30-year Transport Plan PRO | $36b
The one thing missing here is funding. The South Road upgrade, in particular, needs to be financed by tolls. I suspect the government will tackle this post-election. Personally, I believe a wider tolling net, singapore-style, with the proceeds funded into any & all elements of this plan (includ...

Re: News & Discussion: Public Transport
There are already more than enough bus services covering North Terrace. This new service will provide a 15 minute service along the 99C(revised route) as opposed to the current service,as well as being operational for longer each day---that certainly is a major improvement!

Re: U/C: Electrification & Upgrade of the Adelaide Rail Netw
Infrastructure Minister Koutstantonis has been on radio this morning conceeding that it is highly unlikely that Rail services on the Noarlunga line will recommence this month. He is awaiting a report from the Rail Commisioner next week on a possible date for reopening the line. He will go along with...
