Re: #VISION Liberal's railyard plan: new stadium & entertainment
As much as I would like them to reconsider the new hospitals location, I cant see Labor changing their minds. It was a bitter enough pill for them to swallow when conceding to change its name from The Marj back to the RAH. I dont think that the majority of people are against a new hospital, its jus...

Re: #VISION Liberal's railyard plan: new stadium & entertainment
I'd love a riverbank prescient but I just don't think it would work being this far down the west side of the city. Sadly not enough people live down there... It's not like Brissy where the buildings (and people) are both sides of the river... It'd just end up being a ghost town. I don't mean to hi-...

Re: #VISION Liberal's railyard plan: new stadium & entertainment
Will, a couple of corrections if I may. Hence, I am intrigued as to why this project has not been mentioned by the Liberals during the election campaign? Why is there no mention of it on their website? Why is there no press release? Why is this website the only place where this is available for view...

Re: #VISION Liberal's railyard plan: new stadium & entertainment
G'day guys. You really need to look at the Liberal Policy with regard to this precinct to understand what this plan represents. This is a mock-up of what "could be" not what "will be" should the Liberals win government. What Isobel Redmond is saying is that this is the wrong site...

Greetings all! My sincerest apologies for my absence, but I've been working on something very exciting that will be released in the next couple of weeks, I'm sure you're all going to love it!! Good to see that everyone's seen the new render, everything should be uploaded to the website soon, includi...

G'day guys, true to my user name (for those Boston Legal fans) we are still undefeated! This project has been a work in progress for over 3 years, but as they say, good things come to those who wait! Hopefully this decision by the adelaide City Council not only opens up the opportunity to a fantasti...

HI guys, sorry about my absence but we have been extremely busy with the Masonic Lodge project over the last couple of weeks and, as you can see, another positive result. Spire is still going full steam ahead, and the new renderings are about two weeks away - there was some issues that we weren't ha...

[CAN] Re: #Approved: Spire Living - 107m, 37 lvls
I will have to check with the builders and the rest of the development team, but I don't see why a tour is out of the question during the construction phase. There are the usual safety precautions and considerations that need to be addressed, I won't promise anything, but will try my best.

[CAN] Re: #Approved: Spire Living - 107m, 37 lvls
Hello everyone, good to see you all got the news. In answer to all your questions, yes we are happy that we FINALLY have approval, no we will not be releasing any renders this week as they are not finished yet (regardless of what people might say) and NO, Michael Harbison's head has not been transpo...

[CAN] Re: #Deferred: Spire Living - 110m, 35 lvls
My source is simple - Denny Crane stated the following in his/her(?) first post recently: In response to several posts regarding the time it has taken to get this building out of the ground, I have this to say. Since inception in 2003, this site has had 4 different owners and has been the subject of...

In the event that these upload properly, I thought you guys might like to have a look at some extracts from the Wind Analysis that was conducted as part of the engineering on this building. As I've said before, the design has had to undergo some serious structural engineering to make sure that it ca...

Omicron said: Ease up with the circle-jerk, gentlemen. Well said Omicron, Denny Crane must think he is a god right now. :) Whilst I appreciate the opportunity to clarify the position on this development, it should be noted that the developer, along with many others in Adelaide, respect the opinions...

[CAN] Re: #Deferred: Spire Living - 110m, 35 lvls
Denny, do you know if other readily available concrete colour additives (Sika / Solomon / BASF / Grace) have been investigated as an option over Swiss Pearl? At this stage, everything is on the table. In a meeting in Melbourne earlier today, the developers were presented with the interiors package ...

[CAN] Re: #Deferred: Spire Living - 110m, 35 lvls
the statement "avoiding unecessary costs" is a poor choice of words. Good design does cost money but first this must be accepted as important. ACC officers should challenge the viability of this scheme as part of the design assessment. I disagree. The shortest distance between any two poi...

[CAN] Re: #Deferred: Spire Living - 110m, 35 lvls
Thanks Denny for your input into the forum here. But it has not put my mind at ease, because to me a blank wall is a blank wall, whether it's grey, off white, cream or pearl. In my area the council relishes approving grey concrete cubes with no windows. It saddens me and makes my street feel like a...
