Re: The SA Politics Thread
So whose had a read of the Liberas 2036 manifesto for the state? I tried to, I really really did. Got to the end of their "economic vision" and closed the pdf. So many pages promising they will release policies to conform to a set of buzzword-filled principles. They've had a long time to ...

[COM] Re: PRO: 2 King William Street | Refurb and rooftop bar
That looks like a great place to have a rooftop bar. If it was coupled with a good selection of beer (Mountain Goat, Moo Brew, Sierra Nevada...) then it'll be wonderful.

Re: Who actually does their grocery shopping in Rundle Mall?
Coles has pushed really hard that the Rundle store is leaning more towards convenience items and quick grab stuff- so salad tubs, quick meals that can be zapped in the staff room for lunch, and the items people grab 'on the way home from work' so obvious stuff like milk and other quick consumable it...

Re: News & Discussion: National Broadband Network
Yeah, the 'Telstra will give us the copper' thing is a bit short sighted. Surely making acquiring an asset an election promise would drive the cost of that asset up.

Yes, yes it is.
Same with the netball courts in Golden Grove, they're used a lot.

Re: News & Discussion: MetroCard System
Funnily enough I now have more sympathy for the Victorian government and the idea of smart cards only as a transport ticket or at least having a ticket before you enter a public transport vehicle. Nope, nobody likes the Victorian MyKi card-only system, it's just designed to rip off visitors and for...

[COM] Re: PRO: SkyCity Adelaide Casino Expansion | $300m
How certain can you be of this expansion happening? As much as they've proposed the idea, haven't they had several ideas since the turn of the century to expand and relocate the Casino? I mean, I'm all for redevelopment and even more for them to move the Casino, but I'd love to see action taken on ...

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail
After going into the Rundle Mall K-Mart, I wouldnt be worried if I was Target as it's not even close to being a full size K-Mart store so it is not going to pose too much of a threat. It's hard not to be disappointed when you first look in there, whilest I was in there I actually heard others peopl...

Re: News & Discussion: Public Transport
There were plenty of trams taking people from Soundwave (one arrived every 5 or so minutes), the buses I don't know how much they were increased by- a bus was waiting for me at the stop when I got there but I don't know if it was an extra or not.
