We seem to be placing so much weight on such small decisions.
Is a Apple store a good thing for Adelaide? Yes. Make it happen, move on to the next thing.
Liking the product is not the point, nor is a stupid awning.
We need to think a little bigger methinks.

These alucobond panels are designed to change colour with the direction of light and viewing angle.
They range from a deep red through copper to bright orange depending on the time of day and the angle viewed from...so you're all right!

Touche Pants, i'll pay that. No matter what you think Degruch, council, architect's or any other party won't convince private land owners to do something that isn't commercially viable, some may argue developing small bars and cafes isn't the best result financially - thus the demo of the jade, unfo...

wow degruch, you're a real genious... you have a perfect recipe there don't you? who's going to pay for it? it's really easy to simply throw a few small bars and restuarants in here, and sprinkle a few streetlights there when you're in fairy land isn't it. unfortunately we live in the real world, a ...

At the DAP meeting, Yarwood actually said the development plan was failing Adelaide because he liked the proposal.
I doubt very much he'd support a judicial review.

Re: King Street Bridge
The reason this bridge has taken so long is money i'd suspect, that and some pretty average decisions from council. There was never any after hours work being done, no weekends, no nights, just times when labour is cheapest. the most rediculous thing is that this could have been closed for a week if...

council are very conservative and are becoming redundant anyway, but the big issue is the plan. the heights need to be raised, absolutely, what we don't want though is huge, complying boring buildings. the plan needs to enable applications to be assessed on merit, if it's exceptional and a positive ...

Re: New Retail in the CBD
Finally, adelaide has made it.
There won't be any 'backwater' comments now we have the same snacks as the eastern states.
Let the ACC squash whatever they want, it doesn't matter anymore... we have Krispy Kreme!
