Actually because this development had so many delays, Minster Ellison, decided instead to rent office space in the Grenfell Centre. And this development was approved back in 2005 at 29.6m, however with the conversion of the residential floors, and the fact that since 2005, Adelaide has new height restrictions, it may be slightly higher.Pistol78 wrote:That looks like a great sized/ designed building to fill in that long standing hole! So I am gathering that Minter Ellison is still the major tenant for this building?

CONSTRUCTION will begin on a $45 million office tower on Gouger St within months.
Final approvals have now been given for an eight-storey tower to be developed by the Kambitsis Group on the former Adelaide creche site, near the Central Market.
The redevelopment of the derelict site was put on hold in 2004 after a planned tenant, law firm Minter Ellison, decided against moving in.
With Thomson Playford Barristers and Solicitors now secured for half of the 8000sq m building, developer George Kambitsis said construction would likely begin in August.
Mr Kambitsis said that plans had also been amended, removing a penthouse apartment originally proposed for the top floor.
"We were going to have an apartment on the top for my wife and I, but since then we have had a baby so we thought apartment living was no longer suitable," he said.
The tower will include retail on the ground floor.
Leasing negotiations are under way for the remaining office space, and Mr Kambitsis said that tenders would soon be invited for building of the complex.
It is expected construction will be complete by the end of October, 2008.
