You're right. For some reason I had in my head the glass was coloured. All makes sense now!

One thing that puzzles me is the painting of the walls with the coloured triangles.
1. Wouldn't that normally be something they do towards the end at internal fit-out stage?
2. Given the coloured glass wrap around the building, wouldn't that make painted walls redundant, as the light coming through will create coloured patterns anyway (and in fact, turn a nice effect into a muddled mess)?

Your right they are finish painting the external walls way to early, the problem is that the painters are keeping with the program but the facade is months behind and will be a while before they start.

Mono, you do realise the actual story behind the colours was that once a day, each painter would paint a colour that is from their favorite footy team and a consistency of grass green to keep things looking relatively organized. Because a vast lot of the painters were Victorian, you'll notice the colours are different from the usual South Aussie red, blue white, teal, black and yellow. The thing is, that each painter would be subjected to a different tile, therefore creating this awesome design.

The facade is being made in china and they are holding the job up, they expect the first delivery in march months late.
