Thanks, I`ve got a 2 bedroom. The sales agent told me that they will start very soon.

I don't want to be negative but of course the sales agent is going to say that.

I heard a lot of sales have been to the Chinese. And much like Barangaroo ( which is much larger and sold out in hours ) this was marketed in China ?

Hopefully there's a reasonable balance of owner/occupiers and it isn't completely overrun by investors.

Any new apartments will naturally be attractive to overseas investors due to firb laws

But as for marketing vue in china, I haven't heard that one, but it would face stiff competition from developments from our eastern states which picks up most of the cashed up chinese buyers.
But i do know of a few families who are of chinese heritage that have bought but they're all pr's or aust citizens, not chinese nationals.

Construction is more likely to start in July 2016.

GHS at it again, don't listen to him. He seems to have something against this development.

I think people drastically underestimate how long it takes for a development like this to transition
from a marketing phase into a construction phase. It's a big project, they are not going to start building
it overnight.
I believe that July 2016 is a realistic start date for construction.

No one expects this to begin construction tomorrow or next week, but July 2016? Come on, that's more than 2 years away!
What are you basing your estimate on?

According to some people construction is starting in July which is only 3 weeks away.
Have a look at vision on morphett for example which is a smaller project. That development
was first proposed 3 years ago and we still don't have a crane on site.

I am just basing the July starting date on what has been said in the media. it has been publicly said so unless an explanation for delay is given I expect to see action on the site sometime in July.

Sorry, I had to laugh when you compared it to Vision on Morphett... Talk about apples and watermelons.
This project is far more attractive and realistic. I am not privy to construction time tables, but I certainly prefer their recent arrival into this state as an indication of things to come...

Seriously, what do you have against this? Either provide a reliable source, or shut up.
