Who would buy a brand new 4 story walk up apartment? - the HSA units next door are 3 story walk up 'apartments" - it seems very strange to have this very low and basic development on this site.

I went for a ride past this today, not too much to report. Looks like they have recently started laying foundations.

An up date as at 8 June 2014. the vast hole has been filled in and the site levelled. There are a few driveways/roads and lots have been set out as in the revised plan .There is an add on the fence for 6 x 3 story town houses . All up, this is a wasted opportunity for some thing far more substantial

I agree...but something more substantial was approved and marketed but there wasn't enough demand to actually sell the thing. What concerns me now is that this development may be no different. Making something work here isn't easy and to me it's got a nothing kind of feel even though it's next to River Torrens. I am thinking it needs to have retail in it to give it life or it may as well just become a retirement village considering the surroundings.

Time to change the name of the project. '45 Park Gilberton' has officially been deferred due a lack of funds & concerns of environmental impact.

a whole lot of 3 level apartments have popped out from nowhere. Must admit I haven't been past this corner for 3 years and was rather surprised to see all these townhouses been built

Went past this site today on the obahn and noticed that there was a new sign erected which showed a 6 or 7 story apartment building. Wasnt able to get a picture and havent found anything regarding it online however this sign wasn't there 2 weeks ago so it appears apartments may be back on the cards for a portion of this precinct.
