Looks very similar to 115 King William, at roughly the same height... but that's not a bad thing. Lots of bulky buildings around Adelaide, it's time we had some more sleek and slim ones.

I like it, Vue height without the bulk. I also don't mind the Western wall treatment too. Kodo should take note...

Nice building, but going off the render.... beats the hell out of me what city they're building it in

4 apartments per level? I looked back through the thread. Didn't see that detail.
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

Looks good. Would be best suited complimenting an existing bulkier building. Just my first thought.

Fingers crossed that this inspires some development further west towards the Morphett/Franklin Street corner, might also inspire some activity across the road at the old bus depot.ChillyPhilly wrote:Looks good. Would be best suited complimenting an existing bulkier building. Just my first thought.

Floorplans have four apartments per level up to floor 6, then two per level until you get to the penthouse floorsWayno wrote:4 apartments per level? I looked back through the thread. Didn't see that detail.

First time poster, long time lurker. Just in regards to the old bus depot. The old bus depot is now the office of an organisation that I volunteer with as well as a few other organisations. People here seem to think that it is abandoned and empty well it is not.

One of the key redeeming features of this development I think - for the people lucky enough to be able to afford them - are the higher level floors which stretch the north-south length of the building. It's a real liveability factor (played up in the sales guff) but it's a big one I think with inner city living. Getting good airflow is almost as important as sunlight access in my experience.floplo wrote:Floorplans have four apartments per level up to floor 6, then two per level until you get to the penthouse floorsWayno wrote:4 apartments per level? The main thing that works against this - and it's neither here nor there, really - is that the views certainly from the north side if you are on the lower floors - will be pretty unimpressive.

Indeed the space is being used - but fwiu it is temporary?

That I'm not aware off. I just don't want to have to move office again as we (the organisation I'm with) only moved from an office across the road (Franklin Street) last year and it was one hell of a move. We have settled in really well so I doubt we'd be moving anytime soon, especially with the community garden set up.

MORE BLANK BLOODY WALLS! At lease give these pricks a balcony to change things up.
Improvement over original yes but far from impressed. The western skyline will be a total mess with this and KODO.

Built to the boundary. No stopping the neighbour building to its own boundary and turning that balcony in to a cellar.Mpol wrote:MORE BLANK BLOODY WALLS! At lease give these pricks a balcony to change things up.
