It's great to see the slip form on site here. It's amazing to think we've got two new tallest (than the current) buildings being built at once.

I'm rooting for Westpac to not be in the top five tallest within five years.

Core is now up 2 levels. Has Crowne Plaza/Kyren signage on it and it is a beast of a core.

I'm pretty sure once the podium and hotel section is completed the core will be reconfigured to a smaller size.

How will the existing Car Park be accessed once the Adelaidean is finished?

Its incorporated into the ground floor design. Entrance/exit will be in the original place except 2 lanes down from 3.

I feel as though they should have utilised the activation of the neighbouring laneway and moved the carpark entry there. Allow for more street level activation on Frome St and probably would have eased congestion at the entry during peak period which was a common issue before.

I doubt with the existing on/off ramps, turning circles etc in the existing car park that could have been done.

Plus there are some white steel columns on the south side and along the back by the car park.

Plus the ground floor concreting is finished. (it is a pain posting pictures 1 at a time - can any one fix this problem?)

I access this forum on my phone using an app called Tapatalk. The app lets me post multiple photos in one comment and means they also don’t need to be hosted anywhere.

I’ll be back at work next week in the city so will try and get some more photos of progress too.

It seems no one will listen to our requests in the “posting photos help” thread.
