[COM] 202 Tynte Street (Channel 9 Site) | ?m | 6 Levels | Hotel
[COM] Re: Channel 9 site Tynte St North Adelaide
The design is underwhelming, but I think they've done well with the height and bulk of the development with consideration to its surroundings.

The idea of an iconic luxury hotel on that site? Good
Do the renders show an iconic luxury hotel? No.

I think demolition has started. There is Catcon and Royal Park Salvage signage out the front and the site is fenced off.

Looks like the North Adelaide skyline will look a bit different soon - there are two large cranes hovering over the top of the old TV tower today.

Demolition of the existing buildings on site started several weeks ago and is probably complete by now. Big signs on the fencing for a company called "Catcorp" who I presume is the developer?

Catcorp is the builder. The developer is John Culshaw of Majestic Rooftop Garden hotel (off Rundle St) and Old Lion apartments & Minima Hotel (North Adelaide.)
