Ok, so the curtains do give it a bit of a 60s feel. At least the hotel levels are consistent and not a hodgepodge of window dressings like Kodo. And should become less noticeable once the student tower is complete.

But the Frome Street podium is unforgivably ugly.

That's a pretty average, plain looking apartment. Probably the most interesting thing in that apartment is the wall in the toilet.
What's with the bottom of each balcony, just bare concrete? And the columns on picture number 16, just bare concrete again?

Adelaide market seems to dictate very bland interiors — "need to appeal to everyone" type approach. I think it actually needs the raw concrete column and balcony ceiling, it's the one bit of real texture that's not white paint or cheap wood-effect laminate.

Korn is a local agency, although they target the Chinese market. Based on the photos in that listing it seems to just be a pre-construction listing that has been updated to say it is now available.

Not at all surprising to see something is broken... and the LED strip is no orphan on this project.

I would suggest the following reasons;

a) Kyren site staff are incompetent
b) Kyren cut corners and their builds are second rate
c) Kyren do not like to pay their bills therefore work is incomplete
d) All the above

From what I have been informed from people on the job, 'all the above' would apply.

Agree with you 100%. Theo Samaras made his money by not paying his bills and screwing contractors and has done so for years.
