Flinders link is well and trully buzzing along with it's office components. The 9 Level tower is not too far from the highest floorplates being attached, and a new section is starting, quite close to Flinders St. I've never seen a render of what the 9 level jobbie will look like - has anyone?
Also today the piling work for the new 15 level Santos building started, here's a couple pics from about an hour ago.

I'm almost positive it would have changed since this came out, but there's a slim chance that the 15-level Santos building will look similar to the building in the left of this pic:

Nah one floor level to finish then roof. You can see in Pants second pic that the is another whole section to come, extending the floorspace towards Flinders St.

Also Pants, did you see any work going on at the Santos site? Or is it still just piling equipment?

Just a thought, it looks like the office space continues above the carpark (the red steel sections are for the office component), so the leasable space here might be quite decent!

Well spotted. You can see that the wall separating the office and carpark stop at the top of the grey steel.

Didn't look out for any activity on the Santos site mate. Was in a bit of a hurry when I took the pics. I'll have a look on my way home though.

Well, the Santos tower is 100% definately under construction, the Piling is well underway and the first deliveries of concrete has started. So I'd expect either a core frame or crane base within 2 weeks!!

Well, fellas, got the word from a Hindmarsh Rep today, and Santos definately will use a tower crane, not like the mobiles next door. So another crane for the ever changin 'laide skyline!

Great news mate! Will replace the one we lost when Domain went down. I take it will be a climber?? (tower is 60m or something around that is it not?)

Dunno really. I'm guessing, maybe, I wonder how tall a tower crane can go without supports?? Like, can the tower section be over 60m tall, or would it have to climb with the building?
