Being Adelaide so backwards when it comes to cycling infrastructure, it would be nice to at least have a proper cycling lane that goes all the way from Brighton to Largs Bay.
At several points along that route there are some cycling lanes, but in many others it is a shared path, which makes cyclist opting to use the road instead.
It could be build on top of the rock armours that exist in many places along the beach or on top of dunes.
Done with good design in mind, it could be a great way to encourage more people cycling in one of the most beautiful places Adelaide has to offer.
There could also be some rent-a-bicycle spots along the way where you just pick up the bike and go, tourists would love this too.

It's hard to see where there would be the space though. Building on or even disturbing the dunes is a big no-no.
I'd like to start with the basics and see a decent continuous shared pathway along this route.

Yeah in the areas where it does exist the shared path along the foreshore is great. Make that better connected and widen it in some spots if necessary if better cycling links are needed.

A better link between the coastal path and both the Marino Rocks Greenway and the Mike Turtur Bikeway would be great

a bikeway connection between the south west bikeway and the city would and should be a higher priority. it just ends abruptly at Bunnings Mile end with no link up to the city... totally useless
there's a lane on the road on the Hilton Bridge, but its very narrow and potentially dangerous, and no link to cross the road
