Terrible design. It should be rejected.
Terrible design, and the proximity to the neighbouring apartments is concerning. If we were Melbourne and struggling to find CBD land to develop, sure that would suffice but we're not, completely unnecessary to have two apartment buildings wedged up next to each other, with balconies facing into each other.

it's not even worth putting a clothes line across the balconies to hang out wet under garments as it's so close that no sun can even get in

Would have been some wild covid lockdown balcony parties though

The architecture is very basic but nothing unusual for another 17/18 storey 'Adelaide special' apartment building, especially one not in a 'premier' location. However the proximity for a residential building is ridiculous.

Many years ago I worked in the Conservatory on Hindmarsh and it was not unusual to see people doing their 'thing' in the hotel next door and while close, the gap I think was even bigger than here. And this is two residential towers so people will be in them potentially 24x7 looking straight across into their neighbours lounge rooms / bedrooms / bathrooms.

Presumably it's going to go ahead given it's tied up with federal funds and look ma, 4 disability friendly apartments so everything else that's wrong is automatically neutralised (apparently). Ugh.
