I went to the Merrymaker Bar on top of Hotel Indigo and wanted to take a photo of the development, but all the window seats were occupied - bugger!

I'd be more excited about this development if it were just a doubling of the central market floorspace. Couldn't care less about the high-rises and franchise shops.

I know that we don't often agree on a lot of things, but I couldn't agree more with this. There is so much vacant or dilapidated land around the Market precinct, the apartments are clearly only there to fund the project, they add nothing else to the precinct.

I know it's an add-on, but it will be a bit of a shame to lose the silhouette of the courthouse's dome. Ah well.

As a City of Adelaide ratepayer I very much appreciate that the apartments are there......

ACC has goals of increasing the city population, which in turn supports more lively activity in the city in general. Having apartments as part of the development helps that.
