Does anyone have access to the flythrough?

My goodness the ground floor / hospo area looks so underwhelming.
I can’t wait for some underperforming restaurants to rotate through tenancies there… what a win for South Australia’s “premier public plaza”.
I would love to have seen the gov negotiate a deal for the first few floors to be set aside for an arts space, to complement the Festival centre. Maybe a concert hall space, art gallery… something…
The only winner here is Walker.

You don't view it as a win that the typical Adelaide shot is going to be transformed with these Festival Towers along with Sky City? Particularly this tower...rooshooter wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 10:05 pmMy goodness the ground floor / hospo area looks so underwhelming.

The view of the city of hundreds of thousands of interstate visitors every year crossing the torrens to/from Adelaide Oval will be changed..

I managed to find this site, which features some images and a promo video "flythrough" on the main page I haven't seen before.
And apparently it's called King William Tower now? Unless that's just an older/placeholder name... which hasn't been updated yet.

I like how it looks at night with those roof light features. This is going to be a fantastic addition to the skyline.

Nice find with the video, Plasmatron. I don't hate it

This looks great. Just wish it was elsewhere

I think this is my sentiments also.
Not looking forward it being overly plastered with tacky branding either.

This new building will really make a positive difference - I love it!
And if the Keystone building also goes ahead then the whole of north terrace - and the CBD profile - will be changed for the better.

You do realise that over 9000 office workers, government workers and students will be in this precinct each weekday.rooshooter wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 10:05 pmMy goodness the ground floor / hospo area looks so underwhelming.

Thats not including the foot traffic north of 50,000 people each week passing right through there for AFL. It will be a very busy space once opened!

Anyway, regarding the so-called fly-through video its just a trumped up ad for Walker and spinning ten years in the making as a good thing, despite it obviously meaning its taken a looong time to even get this far with this precinct.

Back on topic and ignoring people that we are clearly better than. Mainly because we collectively have more posts than certain people which means we are more powerful.
So.
King William Tower. Great name but I thought this was King William Tower
