I have just noticed there is no video of the full port river expressway

I thought about it being a road that links Port Adelaide to the northern suburbs, so i chose a song that complements that.

Video proof that Cruise speeds!
Exit on the right in the direction of travel.

Ah, Salisbury Highway. That video brings back memories of queues for the South Road/Grand Junction Road intersection stretching back almost to Port Wakefield Road at 7.30am. And naturally some idiot in the right lane (not me, no, not ever... :oops: )will want to be taking the South Road exit, so both lanes come to a stop. Good times, good times.

Rail bridge was fully raised yesterday, with road bridge about 1/3 up, & deck appears to be complete with side rails installed.
May remain raised for long weekend, for anyone interested. Large crane has been removed from barge, which remains.

Channel 9 had news footage of 2214 running light across the bridge today, with Pat Conlon expecting normal
rail services later this month. (I hope someone tubed it :))

I missed it, but I think Nine News is repeated tonight, so I might get it.

EDIT: No, it's not :(

Thanks, I never had a chance to watch ABC (which apparently had it) or the later ones. I'm hoping they will do more test / driver
training runs, as they did with the tram, before it opens for traffic. (Add) I went down today - no test trains, but plenty of rail
bridge raisings & lowerings, and good shots of the stonie entering Semaphore Road with the raised bridge in the background.
(Add) Appears to be a pole-mounted camera on wharf near stern of Yelta pointed in direction of bridges for remote monitoring;
will be handy if it goes live to the web.
(Add) Pics of the stone train with raised bridge at http://www.xaragmata.thebbs.org/album/r ... y8-01.html
(Add) Pics of the rail approach & bridges from Ocean steamers Rd from Monday -
