Yep pretty good shots, although I was just about to say something about the horizon ... sometimes I straighten it up in photoshop or picasa before I upload them. But keep the great pics coming mate!

The fourth floor is now completed and they are starting on the fifth by the end of this week. That means the place will start to become more visible from West Tce and from the city itself.
Pretty crappy looking place but should be better with some paint and maybe some colour.

I don't mind it, compared to the 2 & 3 storey townhouses that have been built in & around Gray St recently.Professor wrote:Pretty crappy looking place but should be better with some paint and maybe some colour.

I've checked every page of this thread and theres no indication of the buildings height? Anyone know?
I already checked the site as well, elevations dont show anything...

From memory it is 28m, but I'll have to check.Shuz wrote:I've checked every page of this thread and theres no indication of the buildings height? Anyone know?

I did not mean to be over critical of the new building, it's just a bit grey and boxy for me. But I agree with the comments on the Gray Street developments - too many 2-3 level boxes..
All of the recently completed townhouses in Gray St were sold off the plan and I know someone who paid $420,000 for one in the next street. Lots of people wamt to live in this part of town because it is close to Uni SA and the market etc

I saw the elevations again today and the measurements are: AHD 40.955, height to roof 69.555, height to lift overrun 70.005. To be exact it's 28.6 metres, but we'll give it to Will. Will wrote:From memory it is 28m, but I'll have to check.Shuz wrote:I've checked every page of this thread and theres no indication of the buildings height? I formed my opinion based on the render at the start of the thread, but I looked at it again today & saw 4 levels of precast concreteProfessor wrote:I did not mean to be over critical of the new building, it's just a bit grey and boxy for me. panels; it could be a disappointment if the finish is wrong. Then I walked along & looked down Gray Street, and those boxes still do
nothing for me.

It actually looks quite small in real life.
Thanks for the updates!

I love its length - this one I have good hopes for.

Any idea on the size of these apartments? Thinking about investing as a live-in apartment.
