I've been on the bottle since I was 14.
Its so interesting how we consistently hear of these 'crackdowns on binge drinking' because its bad for peoples health and the lift of alcopop taxes, la-di-da-dah which supposedly all the 12-20 year olds drink. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but why is the Goverment quite literally 'promoting' that minors be allowed to drink? If you think about it, there seems to be no argument against allowing minors to drink, just the argument of 'reducing drinking habits'....
Then again, when the police caught me out, all they do is just take away your alcohol. No fine, just a slap on the wrist and "don't do it again" lecture. Not even a recording of names. And yet the 'law' states that minors are forbidden to drink, and that such-and-such penalties are issued... and I've not
ever heard of anyone be penalised 'legally' as such.
I really think that we may just as well not bother with having the law in the first place - as in some cases, legalising such actions reduces the incidence of such action to take place. If anything, a compromise should be achieved which limits the sale of an amount of alcohol sold to a minor...
I'll try the Polish vodka someday. Smirnoff's suits my style best though
Coke diluters can expect an e-slap from me. That's more woman than drinking a Cruiser.
